Viktoriya Solensky has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Solensky is a professional menswear stylist and the owner of John's Suit Shop in Springfield, Missouri, a role she has held since 2016. In this capacity, she manages all aspects of the business, including sales, bookkeeping, advertising and website updates. She provides expert styling advice to customers, assists clients in selecting suits, conducts fittings and alterations, and oversees all orders, including Made-to-Measure custom menswear. Ms. Solensky's leadership and hands-on approach have contributed to the shop's reputation for quality service and personalized attention. John's Suit Shop is a retail store that specializes in men's suits. In addition to suits, the storefront offers a range of complementary items, including shirts, shoes, belts, and other accessories that men may need to complete their look. The shop also provides custom Made-to-Measure menswear, with a significant portion of its business catering to weddings.

From 2012 to 2019, Ms. Solensky was an adjunct professor in the Department of Design and Merchandising at Missouri State University. During her tenure, she designed curricula and taught courses that enriched the academic experience for students. Notably, Ms. Solensky developed and led the International Study Away program, taking students to Italy to broaden their understanding of global fashion markets. She considers her time teaching and mentoring students among the highlights of her career.

Between 2007 and 2012, Ms. Solensky contributed her expertise in apparel product development and implementation of product lifecycle management software at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield. Her work focused on streamlining processes within the apparel division, enhancing product quality, efficiency and supporting the company's growth in the retail apparel sector.

Before relocating to the U.S., Ms. Solensky worked at Bos Bison from 1999 to 2005, an upscale leather and fur apparel company based in Moscow. She specialized in prêt-à-porter and made-to-measure technical design for high-end collections and private custom orders. As a patternmaker and product developer, Ms. Solensky collaborated with renowned designers on garments showcased at the Moscow High Fashion Weeks.

Ms. Solensky began her career at the National Research Institute of Apparel Industry in Moscow in 1994. In this research and development role, she explored innovative solutions for the apparel sector for five years, laying a strong foundation for her subsequent achievements in design and product development.

In preparation for her future, Ms. Solensky earned a Bachelor of Science in apparel product development from the College of Design and Technology in 1991 and a Master of Science in engineering with a focus on apparel studies and apparel mass production from Moscow State University of Design & Technology in 2000. In addition to her formal education, she earned a certification in professional photography from The Photography Institute in San Francisco in 2009. Ms. Solensky is fluent in both English and Russian.

Active civically, Ms. Solensky served as a partner of the Living-Learning Community program at Missouri State University, connecting students to services and local businesses, while helping students to gain an understanding of how local businesses can enrich community. She is also committed to philanthropy as a donor who provides discounted suits and free essential alterations through an organization supporting Black Americans and underprivileged youth males.

In recognition of her work in education as an adjunct professor, Ms. Solensky received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2013 in recognition of excellent academic contribution support to Missouri State University student athletes. Her Study Away Programming to Italy was nominated in 2018 for the Award - "Excellence in Study Away Programming and Leadership". Her professional accomplishments have also been featured in the article "Stitching Legacy" of Springfield City Lifestyle magazine, highlighting her career and influence within the local business community. Ms. Solensky attributes her success to hard work, dedication and a commitment to quality. These values have guided her through each stage of her career.
